As of June 2009, Amalgamated Welding & Cutting (AWC) operations will be absorbed into the national structure of its parent company, African Oxygen Limited (Afrox). The AWC product lines and service offers have been rationalized to leverage Afrox's similar range of products, its national warehouse and distribution network as well as Afrox's customer service capabilities.
With this integration customers will experience a seamless changeover, which will include like-for-like Afrox products and services and the continuation of some of AWC's more popular brand lines, namely Oerlikon and Harris.

Ordering process:
From hereon all orders intended for delivery to customer sites are to be placed at the Afrox Customer Service Centre (CSC), available on 0860 02 020 02 between 7am and 5.30pm on weekdays.
To place an order on account for delivery:
• Contact the CSC and follow the Harris, Oerlikon prompts;
• Furnish the call centre agent with your old AWC or new Afrox account number as well as the old AWC item number/s you wish to purchase.
• The call centre agent will guide you through the remainder of the process.
